Environment

Our aim is to always work with suppliers who have robust environmental procedures and economical supply routes through our supply chain.

We request suppliers to use biodegradable materials and recyclable packaging and where possible to manage the minimisation of product packaging without compromising the clinical integrity of the products /devices.

We utilise established nationwide carriers, to reduce unnecessary fleet travel and to reduce carbon emissions when delivering product instead of using a company owned carrier.

We are ISO 14001 certified, and our Environmental Policy outlines our commitment to the protection of the environment as well as prevention of pollution and other specific commitments relevant to the context of the organisation. (A copy of this policy can be provided upon a request.).

We purchase inventory in volumes that reduce the number of inward deliveries in-line with our Environmental objectives.

We work closely with our major service provider Uniphar, who understand that their activities can have a lasting impact and believe in protecting our environment for the benefit of future generations. Uniphar are committed to achieving our Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Responsible Consumption and Climate Action.
